19 Brix

I tested the sugars on Friday to begin our baseline. The average was 19. I will be checking it once a week for the next several weeks, but due to the foggy, cool summer, it appears we may not be harvesting until mid October this year. Of course I had to sample the berries while I was testing the sugar, and they were tasting yummy! The sun did not break through the fog yesterday until 6:00pm! Today was much better, as the sun made it’s appearance by 10:30am.
